Casale de Pasquinelli sits in the hills outside Lucca, and it has the kind of setting that feels almost deliberately cinematic - cypress trees lining the drive, terracotta and stone, and views that roll out across the Tuscan landscape in every direction. It is one of those venues where the light does most of the work, and your job as a photographer is simply not to get in the way of it.
Akemi and Kramer brought together family and friends from Japan and across the world for their Tuscany wedding, and the day had a particular warmth that comes when people have made a real effort to be somewhere. You felt it in the ceremony, and again later in the evening when the dancing spilled out under the Tuscan sky and nobody seemed in any hurry to leave.
A Casale de Pasquinelli wedding gives you so much to photograph. The architecture, the landscape, the quality of the late afternoon light in that part of Lucca - it all adds up. Akemi and Kramer's day was joyful, unhurried, and exactly what a destination wedding in Italy should be.

Kind words from Akemi & Kramer
We have hired Leah to be our wedding day photographer in Italy for next year. The process so far has been nothing short of wonderful! Leah is obviously passionate about her work and is extremely talented. We wanted to get engagement photos taken and were hesitant about putting in the money for it, but they were so worth it.
We met Leah in Portugal and did a sunrise photoshoot to create the photos of our dreams!!! As someone who is a tad anxious about getting their photo taken, Leah made the process so easy and natural. It has gotten us so excited for our wedding day photos. We cannot recommend Leah enough!
Update: We just got our sneak peeks back from Leah for our wedding and they are breathtaking. Leah was the best to work with on our wedding day. It was a little stressful in moments prior to the ceremony, but Leah was so calm and organized that she really made it the best experience for us.

Casale de Pasquinelli Wedding Photographer
I'm Leah, a British editorial wedding photographer working internationally. The hills above Lucca have a quality all of their own, and Casale de Pasquinelli sits right in the middle of it. I've photographed weddings here and it's one of my favourite corners of Tuscany.
