Emily and Huy's Hotel Santa Caterina wedding began the way the best Amalfi Coast celebrations do: a day early, with the whole group gathered in Ravello. Pizza, wine, and the last of the evening light across the hills. It was unhurried and warm, exactly the kind of welcome gathering that sets the tone for everything that follows.
The wedding day in Amalfi arrived with the kind of clarity the coast is known for. Hotel Santa Caterina sits high above the water, its terraces framing uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean, and Emily and Huy exchanged their vows with all of it stretched out behind them. It is a venue that asks very little of you: show up, be present, and let the setting do what it has always done.
Dinner carried on into the evening, the table long, the laughter louder as the night went on. There is a particular quality to celebrations at this end of Italy, something in the light and the pace of things, where time seems to slow just enough for every moment to land properly.
