ktima lindos wedding

Ktima Lindos sits on the island of Rhodes with uninterrupted views where the land meets the Aegean, and it has been in the same family since 1933. That kind of continuity shows. The venue has the ease and confidence of a place that knows exactly what it is - warm, generous, and completely at home in its landscape. Farm to table food, spaces that move between indoor and outdoor without ceremony, and a standard of hospitality that feels personal rather than corporate. For a destination wedding on a Greek island, it is hard to imagine a more considered setting.

Summer and Aaron gathered their closest family and friends on Rhodes for their Ktima Lindos wedding, and the island did what Rhodes does in summer - brilliant light, deep blue water, whitewashed architecture catching the heat of the afternoon. The ceremony had the particular quality that outdoor weddings in Greece tend to have: sky and sea as the backdrop, and nothing between you and the horizon.

What I find compelling about a venue like Ktima Lindos is how much of the photography happens in the margins. The farm to table spread drawing people together before the meal. A quiet moment on one of the terraces while the reception builds behind the doors. The light on the Aegean at the exact point the afternoon tips into evening. Summer and Aaron's day was full of those moments, and Rhodes gave them a setting that made every one of them count.
