I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Adelaide and Edward at the stunning La Cannonerie near Bordeaux. This idyllic venue has an abundance of peaceful, unspoiled surroundings, making it the perfect backdrop for a romantic celebration. France is such a beautiful country and I absolutely love spending time there, so this was such a treat.

Nestled atop a sun-kissed hill amidst the picturesque Cognac vines of southwestern France lies the enchanting La Cannonerie estate. Boasting a private estate of 30 acres of rolling countryside, this exquisite property has been lovingly restored by its current owners, offering a collection of stylish cottages and venue spaces around a luminous courtyard.

The couple chose to have their ceremony in the Courtyard, where the magnificent façade of La Cannonerie served as a breathtaking backdrop. The sunlight filtering through the arches of the Loggia added an ethereal touch to the setting, making it a truly unforgettable experience for everyone present. The Loggia provided a spacious yet intimate atmosphere for Adelaide and Edward’s special day.

For the reception, the Banqueting Barn was transformed into a magical space with its myriad of sparkling fairy lights and beautifully uplit stone walls. This enchanting setting allowed them to dine and dance the night away in celebration of Adelaide and Edward’s love. As their photographer, I was truly inspired by the beauty of La Cannonerie and the love that filled the air, capturing memories that I know Adelaide and Edward will cherish for a lifetime.
