Marylebone Town Hall

Julie & Chris

With just their closest friends present, Julie & Chris were married at the renowned Marylebone Town Hall. The remainder of their family and friends joined us virtually from countries all over the world. It was genuinely one of the most precious and private moments I’ve ever seen, and I feel so fortunate to have been there to capture it all.

I can attest to the historic beauty and grandeur of the Marylebone Town Hall. Built from 1914 to 1920, the grade II listed building boasts columns inspired by classic Roman and Greek architecture, providing a stunning backdrop for wedding photos.

The town hall has seven registry ceremony rooms, each named after an area of London. The Westminster room is the most popular, followed by the Soho room. Conveniently located near Regents Park, it’s the perfect spot for post-registry photos.

After the ceremony, as the city’s Christmas lights started to glow against the darkened sky, we strolled through London’s sparkling downtown streets and found ourselves outside of Chris’s favourite bookstore, Daunt Books.

After picking out our favourites, we said goodbye to the lovely aroma of the bookstore and continued walking a few more blocks until we arrived at the charming FlowerHouse pub. There, we met up with their friends once more for champagne and cheeseboards. I know what you’re thinking, they’re the best people? And you’d be right, they really are.
