Ally and Cameron chose Masseria Alchimia for their wedding, and it was exactly the kind of place that makes you understand why couples travel halfway around the world to get married in Puglia. Pale stone buildings, centuries-old olive groves, and a quiet, unhurried light that seems to exist only in the south of Italy.
Their guests came from America and Germany - a genuinely international gathering that brought its own warmth and energy to the day. There is something particular about a wedding where people have crossed time zones to be there. The toasts run longer, the dancing goes later, and you can feel the weight of the occasion in the room.
As a Puglia wedding photographer, I find that Masseria Alchimia gives you so much to work with. The architecture creates natural frames; the landscape holds light in the evening in a way that is almost unfair. For Ally and Cameron's wedding, I spent the day moving between quiet, intimate moments and the full, joyful noise of a celebration that had been a long time coming.
This is what destination wedding photography in Puglia looks like when the venue, the couple, and the people around them are all exactly right.

Kind words from Ally & Cameron...
Leah was truly the best! We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer.
She made us feel so comfortable during the photos throughout the day and captured so many precious moments of not only us but also our guests as well as the small details of the wedding. Leah fit right in with our friends and family. Almost every single one of our guests came up to us to tell us how wonderful she was.
She is so talented and made our day so special. Seriously, I could not recommend her enough.

Masseria Alchimia Wedding Photographer
I'm Leah, a British editorial wedding photographer working internationally. Puglia has a rawness to it that I find endlessly compelling, and Masseria Alchimia captures that quality beautifully. I've written about it as one of my favourite venues in the region, and photographing weddings here only reinforced that.
