One of the most luxurious hotels on the tropical island of Barbados, my assignment focused on capturing the essence of the hotel, showcasing it's newly renovated restaurant, bar area, rooms and pool. I loved photographing the elegant fusion of Caribbean chic and modern luxury that makes this hotel so special.

Curving around the Piazza della Repubblica, this hotel is truly remarkable. Asked to capture the endless details around their rooms and communal spaces, I could have taken thousands more of photos.

luxury hotel photography

I create refined, campaign-ready photography for luxury hotels and destination properties - imagery that positions your property at the level your guests expect, and makes the booking decision feel effortless. From atmospheric interiors to the full guest experience, every frame is crafted to work seamlessly across your website, OTA listings, press, social, and printed collateral.

uk, europe & worldwide

With a background in destination wedding photography and international editorial work, I've spent years photographing the world's most beautiful properties - with the same exacting eye that luxury travel publications expect.

That means I don't just document a room. I tell the story of being in it. The light on the terrace at dusk. The way the pool catches the morning. The quiet detail that makes a guest feel they've arrived somewhere truly special. That is the imagery that drives direct bookings - and it's what I do.

Hotel clients commission me when they need imagery that doesn't look like it came from a property photographer. Because their guests can tell the difference.

Whether you're refreshing your entire brand image library or need focused imagery for a new campaign, I'd love to hear about your property. The first step is a short call - no commitment, just a conversation about what you're looking for and whether we're the right fit.

What does a luxury hotel photography shoot involve?

Every project starts with a conversation about how your property is used and how you want it to feel. From there, I build a shot list that covers the spaces that matter most to your brand: suites, dining, spa, grounds, and anything in between. On the shoot day itself, I work methodically through the property, often across different times of day to capture how light moves through each space. You'll receive a fully edited gallery, typically within six weeks.

How long does a hotel photography shoot take?

It depends on the size of the property and the scope of the brief. A focused shoot covering key areas can be done in a day. A larger resort with multiple room categories, restaurant spaces, and outdoor areas will typically need two to three days. I'll always be straightforward with you about what's realistic within your timeframe.

Do you work with international hotels and resorts?

Yes. I'm based in the UK but work internationally across Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond. Recent hotel projects have included properties in Barbados, Rome, Greece, and Kenya. Travel and logistics are factored into the project quote from the start, so there are no surprises.

What kind of hotels do you work with?

Primarily luxury and boutique properties: five-star hotels, private resorts, and independent venues that have a distinct visual identity worth capturing properly. If your property has character, atmosphere, and detail that standard photography tends to flatten, that's exactly the kind of work I find most interesting.

How is luxury hotel photography priced?

Pricing is based on the scope of the project: shoot days required, the number of spaces covered, usage rights, and any travel involved. I don't have a fixed rate card because no two properties are the same. If you reach out with a brief or even a rough idea of what you need, I can put together a clear proposal.

What usage rights do I receive?

All images are delivered for commercial use across your owned channels: website, social media, printed materials, and direct marketing. If you need extended rights for advertising, PR distribution, or third-party use, that's something we can discuss and include in your agreement from the outset.

Can you work around hotel operations and guests?

Yes, this is standard practice. I'm experienced in working quietly around occupied rooms, active restaurant services, and guests going about their stay. The goal is always to get the shots you need with as little disruption as possible. Shoot scheduling can be planned around your quieter periods if that helps.
