Here are some tips to get you even more excited, let's dive in!
Yes, more time! Let's spin this into a positive because you now have more time to save, plan, and get excited all over again. For our wedding, I really wanted an ice cream truck and a live band, but sadly we didn't have enough extra in the budget to accommodate this as It was getting closer to our date and so we left it. Had we had more time to save we would have totally had those things we wanted. So now is the time to think about all those extra little details you've wanted all along because you might just be able to have them now.
Did this whole pandemic make you realize whos close to you and who isn't?
Did you know that 40% of your wedding budget will go on food for your guests, with an average wedding costing between £20,000- £30,000 that's a staggering £12,000 on food. This could be a great time to perhaps make some changes to your guest list if you've been feeling like you want a more intimate wedding with just your nearest and dearest. Speak to your venue and see if it's possible to make some changes in this area if its something you're hoping to do.
Was this you? You've spent years planning and saving then suddenly your day crept up and you started feeling less and less prepared? Well, now you can make doubly sure you have everything in place you need! Approaching your new day will feel like you're ahead of the game and on top of everything, and trust me that is the perfect feeling going into your wedding day. You won't feel rushed or unprepared at all now. Oh, what A FEELING!
You are in a very small percentage of couples who have had to move their wedding due to a pandemic, this is so rare and by now, hopefully, you were quick to schedule in a new date with all your suppliers, so you can now relax and get excited about your new date. Get excited about planning new hen and stag doo's, get excited about celebrating with everyone you love and most importantly remember why you wanted to get married in the first place, and just know that your day is still going to happen and you can absolutely get excited about it all over again!
