as a WILTSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER, I’m drawn to the way TIMELESS COUNTRY HOUSES become the setting for celebrations that feel entirely PERSONAL, bringing together beautiful DESIGN, fashion-led PORTRAITS and all the LIFE happening around them.

Hello, I’m Leah.

I live in the English countryside with my husband, Phil, our golden retriever, Darwin, and our two cats, Loki and Kobe. We love seeing new parts of the world, but I’m equally happy at home, cooking for our families, spending time in the garden and enjoying the slower rhythm of everyday life.

Travelling from a young age deepened my curiosity about people and places, and the rituals that shape our lives. I love seeing the traditions people carry with them, and the new ones they create for themselves.

Art, fashion, interiors and beautiful places shape how I see the world and, naturally, how I photograph it. I want the images to feel beautiful, considered and a little bit cool, but never at the expense of the life inside them.

After more than a decade of photographing weddings, I’m still genuinely excited by every celebration I get to be part of. Making people feel at ease comes naturally to me. I’m a family person at heart, and the people who matter to you will matter to me too.

best wedding venues in Wiltshire

There is nowhere else in England quite as old as Wiltshire. The ten Wiltshire wedding venues in this guide are the ones I keep coming back to, and every one earns its place on the strength of the setting alone. If you want a wedding where the place itself carries the day, start here.

read the guide

Wiltshire rewards a certain kind of attention. The county sits at the heart of ancient England - Stonehenge and Avebury are not incidental details but central facts, stone circles that have been drawing people to this landscape for five thousand years and give it a weight that you feel without quite being able to explain. The chalk downlands stretch wide and open, the skies are vast, and the light across the Plain has a particular quality - clear, expansive, unlike anywhere else in the south of England.

As a Wiltshire wedding photographer, I work with that weight and that openness in equal measure. The county has some of the finest country house venues in England - grand estates with the kind of architectural confidence that comes from centuries of occupation, manor houses surrounded by formal gardens and parkland, historic houses that carry their history lightly and wear it well. Wiltshire wedding photography lends itself to an editorial approach: considered frames, honest emotion, the particular beauty of a celebration held inside a landscape that carries genuine history in every direction you look.
